1. Information We Collect
NovoTool is designed to provide utility tools without requiring an account, registration, or submission of personal information.
When you use a browser-based tool, files such as images, PDFs, documents, or other inputs may be selected from your device. These files are processed locally in your web browser where the individual tool supports browser-based processing.
We do not intentionally collect or store the files you select for local processing.
2. Browser-Based Processing
Many NovoTool tools are built so that processing happens directly in your browser. A file can be read by JavaScript running on your device, processed in memory, and used to create the requested result.
When processing is completed locally, the resulting file can be downloaded directly to your device without the original file being sent to a NovoTool processing server.
3. Your Files
NovoTool does not intentionally upload, retain, sell, or share files that you select for local processing.
Temporary data created by your browser while a tool is running may exist in browser memory or temporary browser storage as required for the tool to function. This local data is controlled by your browser and is not a NovoTool server-side file archive.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
NovoTool may use browser features such as localStorage when necessary for user-interface preferences, such as remembering whether you selected light mode or dark mode.
These preferences are stored by your browser on your device. They are not used by NovoTool as a personal profile or account database.
5. Third-Party Resources
Some individual tools may load third-party libraries or resources required for the tool to work. For example, a page may load a JavaScript library from a public content-delivery network (CDN).
When your browser requests a resource from a third-party provider, that provider may receive standard technical information associated with the web request, such as an IP address, browser information, or request metadata. This is controlled by the third party's own privacy practices.
NovoTool does not control the privacy practices of third-party resource providers. You should review the privacy policies of those providers when applicable.
6. Analytics and Advertising
NovoTool is intended to operate without advertising profiles or behavioral tracking for the core browser-based tools.
If analytics, advertising, authentication, payments, or another external service is added to a specific NovoTool page in the future, this policy should be updated to describe that service and the information it processes.
7. Security
Processing files locally can reduce the need to transmit those files to a remote processing server. However, no website or browser environment can guarantee absolute security.
You should keep your browser and operating system updated and avoid using sensitive files on devices or networks you do not trust.
8. Children's Privacy
NovoTool does not intentionally request personal information from children. If a particular service introduces an account, communication, payment, or other feature that collects personal information, the applicable privacy information should be provided separately.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when NovoTool adds, removes, or changes features that affect privacy or data handling. The updated version will be published on this page.
